We are located on the A40 between Crickhowell and Brecon in the heart of the Brecon Beacons and Black Mountains.

Unlike other hostels, bunkhouses and backpackers we aim to combine the feel of a classic British pub with the convenience and flexibity of a modern day backpackers, with reasonable prices and excellent customer service as standard.

The Brecon Beacons are one of the most famous mountain ranges in the United Kingdom, covering 519 square miles - half of which is over 1000ft above sea level! This fantastic environment means that outdoor pursuits are plentiful and local activities include walking, climbing, mountain biking, cycling and pony trekking. Beacons Backpackers is also just a few miles from Llangorse Lake, the largest lake in the Brecon Beacons, where sailing and water sports go on all year round!
